The founder of the ARTIGE Company hails from Bremen, Germany, which is also home to many hedgehogs, or as they say in Bremen, igels. The reason the igel is our mascot is that they have a voracious appetite for bugs and worms. Since we are in the software business, igels and ARTIGE share a common enemy, so we have adopted the igel as our mascot, promoting our desire to provide bug-free software (among other things). We also adopted the red and gold colors of the Bremen Shield as our company colors. |
