  Artige uses XML Technologies

Overview   In keeping with our philosophy of using standard protocols, especially internet protocols, to build our data acquisition and processing systems, the Artige Company has resolved to deploy XML technologies. Our system integration projects require inter-computer communications, and this is where the XML language shows its best capabilities. Note that we deploy XML technologies where it makes sense, and do not use it because it is the latest IT fashion.

As a matter of fact, our use of XML will not be readily apparent to the end users, or most people exposed to our systems. XML has found its way into the configuration scripts, data packet structures, messaging protocols and some local storage. Note that some of the XML implementations are readily and purposefully accessible, such as the packets sent during data acquisition, or loan application data files. Other XML implementations are not visible, such as our switchboard scripts and other operating parameters. So while we claim to use XML technologies in our projects, it is not something that may be evident in our deliverables.

XML is one of the readily available and open technologies that the Artige Company leverages to build low cost systems that can work with your changing business needs.
